One of the most common limiting beliefs is ‘ If I can’t do it perfectly I won’t do it, so no point in starting it’. This belief will not only restrict you from starting new projects or new journeys in life or evolving, it will be one of the main reasons for procrastination. So what I suggest is to understand this calculation 0= 0 , 1=1, 0+1 =1 so 1 step is still better than 0, so start whatever you are thinking of or what has come to your intuition if you can see it being part of your future, do it, just do it and let things unfold.
Let’s take this audio and video cast as an example, I know its not 100% perfect in terms of the audio quality and the video production, but the information I have needed to be shared for the greater good and to assist me with living my purpose, to empower individuals with tools to uncover their potential so they may live healthier and happier lives.
In the same way, you have something within you that may assist someone to live a healthier and happier life or find purpose, so don’t wait till you get it 100%, doing it at 80% is better than not doing it. So take 1 step, its better than o, make 1 change it’s better than 0, do 1% it’s better than 0, so just do it, take the first step, make the first call, do the undone and evolve % by %.
The physical body is one part of the sum of our spiritual, emotional and mental bodies.Getting obsessed with the physical body is a trap you are walking into. The first sign is getting obsessed with how you look and living your life based on looks. This will throw open a pandora’s box, where your health won’t be the priority, your feelings won’t be heard, your needs will be ignored and your wants will be distorted, so try and understand the importance of balance go by the feelings, listen to the spiritual, emotional and mental bodies and work on balance between the bodies.
Once you move away from the trap of the physical body, you will be able to filter out the information that you need and be able to make informed choices based on your wants.
Making a decision can be a tough choice. Should I say yes? No? Should I do it? Should I Wait longer? Or make a decision now? A number of questions, emotions run through our minds before we make a decision, and the more we have to win or lose , the tougher the decision.and at times the decision is difficult, try this strategy, “my answer could either be Yes, No or Maybe or I am not sure. Based on this introspect the three answers and see what feels right, meditate and try the same strategy again. The more you practice the better you will connect with your intuition.
Every second you are different so you have the possibility to change if you want. That choice is yours, change does not need to be instant, it does not need to be ‘all in our all out’, change is best done slowly and gradually wherever possible. Unless you are faced with a catastrophe and quick change meant life and not death, here the cost of change is far less than the cost of what you would lose without the change .
Do it because you want to not because you have to! Own it, own your self or own your shit. Make informed choices, make choices based on your fundamental base rules, and be ready to live with it, no matter how hard it is, always back yourself and in that process be ready to won some and lose some, in that perception of losing, allow lose to be an opportunity to learn and correct that mistake that flaw, so you may be stronger and wiser for next time. But beware you don’t always have to learn from your own mistakes, the wise ones learn from other mistakes and make decisions when they are in the zone or in the state of meditation.
Science is not the ultimate voice, it’s still a young religion, philosophy and way of being. It has its place and its principles, but what we hear and read about the health and fitness industry is not even science, most of the information you hear and see are more research papers funded by those specific industries that could benefit from that specific research paper, or… marketing paper. Ever wondered why there is conflicting news every few months about what’s good for us and what’s not? Remember alcohol and its ever changing daily requirement? How about coffee and its ever changing list of benefits vs negatives? We don’t even understand 1% of how the universe functions or how we function, so how can we rely on research papers based on 1 or 2 % of the population?
